Final Ceremony and Play, December 2018 – Beirut Shatila refugee camp

This event was held in the Basmeh and Zeitooneh Arts and Culture center in Shatila, Beirut on 27th of December 2018.

OUR PARTNERS

Basmeh and Zeitooneh center in Shatila is a community center that provides refugees with an array of different services and projects. Those include individual development through educational classes, vocational training and community building through relief projects. The center provided space in its arts and culture center for the Drama psychotherapy sessions under supervision and funding from Intisars foundation and with guidance from Farah Wardani

Utopia is a non-government organization established in 2012 in Tripoli that focuses on social development through various projects. Their efforts include youth empowerment, environmental initiatives, language teaching sessions and awareness campaigns on health issues. Utopia worked in partnership with Intisars foundation to facilitate Art psychotherapy sessions to Syrian refugee women with the guidance of Myra Saad.
